Google celebrates Adadevoh with a doodle reminder
In honour of Stella Ameyo Adadevoh, google celebrates the humanitarian with a special doodle on its page as a reminder of her good deed during the Ebola crisis.
A doodle is a creative and unique piece of art curated on Google’s homepage to celebrate and/or honor very important personalities, holidays etc.
Adadevoh was credited with avoiding the widespread of Ebola in Nigeria, thereby risking her own life to save multitudes. This is an ethical standard that depicts bravery and heroism.
She was given a posthumous award for her sacrifice, and it is noteworthy to celebrate her on her birthday.
Dr. Ameyo Adadevoh was born on the 27th of October 1956 in Lagos. She died of Ebola complication in a Lagos hospital on the 19th of August, 2014.
